Living through construction being done on the home is not the easiest, especially when it comes to nap time… The worse part is that the construction is being done right outside Huntley’s nursery…but, luckily I’ve been working away on Penelope’s nursery on the other side of the house and we even have the crib up (as you might have already seen on my Instagram) so it makes naps seem a little more feasible.

Poor Huntley woke up in a sweat this morning from her first nap…her hair was drenched and I’ve only ever seen it like this when she’s had the fever…our foreman and his construction crew showed up randomly around 10AM to start working away, when normally they come at 7AM. Hammers were being hammered, drills were drilling, and power tools were being used left to right of the house… After rushing to her room to comfort her and let her know everything was alright, her mood was instantly changed. I can’t help but think how awful it must be to wake up to all those sounds…hopefully it’ll all be done soon!
