How to remove melted crayons from turf.

Yes, this happened! Just when we thought we were getting our yard in order for Easter I realized my kids left crayons to melt outside on the turf. If you know or have turf, you know how much turf is an investment!

We had our turf installer come out to clean, re-sand, and fluff our turf, but even after he left, as beautiful as it looked there were still blotches or melted crayons…

I tried multiple household cleaners and even tried scraping, then very hot water and paper towels, until I figured out a solution! If you don’t want to watch my video here’s the quick nitty-gritty solution – canola oil and good paper towels! Also patience and an arm workout!
